Toyota Announces Recall of 11,529 Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUVs
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced on Friday that it is recalling 11,529 units of its mid-size SUV, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The company is inspecting a dashboard-related component — the combination meter, and if any defect is found, it will be replaced.
According to a PTI report, this voluntary recall applies to vehicles manufactured between 9 December 2024 and 29 April 2025.
Dealer Representatives to Contact Customers Soon
The company stated on its website that, following its “Customer First” philosophy and commitment to the highest quality standards, Toyota will immediately address customer concerns and resolve any issues quickly and conveniently.
Toyota’s dealer representatives will soon contact all affected customers for inspection and necessary replacement.
Before this recall, in October, the company had recalled its Camry, Vellfire, and Land Cruiser models due to the need for reprogramming the Parking Assist ECU software.
